The Trump Labor Relations Board weakened the National Labor Relations Act by making a ridiculous decision that an employer does not violate the act by deliberately misclassify workers as independent contractors to avoid giving them the right to organize as employees.
The Labor Board is intent on gutting the Labor Relations Act in order to make it a useless for employees to organize over wages, hours, and working conditions. It is time to engage in union recognition strikes, job actions, militant acts and demonstration organized through joint activity in the workplace. We can organize outside of the legal norms when such norms become useless. Justice demands organization.
